Our Commitment

We are committed to the gentle spread of nature, and the encouragement of wildlife, through the products that we sell. 

We will continually try to improve but, at the moment, this is what we are doing to minimise our environmental footprint.

We are the first garden centre in the South West to be using POSIpots

Where possible, your plants will be placed in cardboard POSIpots at the till, which can be put straight into the ground or composted.

We are trying to minimise our use of plastic and the amount that leaves our site.

The Urban Garden offers peat-free compost in reusable bags which can be refilled onsite.

All our ready bagged compost and fertiliser is natural and chemical free- organic where possible.

We are selling bird seed by the scoop in rigid reusable containers.
